Would you join with other kind readers and make a small donation to help cover the costs of Lib Dem Newswire and my other emails?

Any personal data you submit will be used in accordance with my privacy policy as well as that of any payment platform you choose to use.

Debit card/direct debit (preferred option)

Using the very easy GoCardless service you can sign up for a small regular donation. It’s taken by direct debit, so the fees are very low meaning your money goes to better use and that you are covered by the direct debit guarantee. You will just need the details from your bank account’s debit card or statement.

PayPal

This form will take you through creating a PayPal account if you don’t currently have one.

Cheque or bank transfer

If online payments aren’t your thing, just drop me an email and I can let you have details of how to send a cheque or make a bank transfer.

Legal requirements

Donations made to Liberal Democrat Newswire are counted as donations to a regulated donee (Mark Pack, a member of a registered political party) under the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000. If you make a donation of more than £500 then, aside from much gratitude, I may have to ask for further information, such as whether you are on the UK electoral register, before formally accepting the donation. Any donation of more than £2,230 has to be declared to the Electoral Commission.
